World Animal Day

by | Oct 4, 2018

World Animal Day is an international day of action for animal rights and welfare. It is celebrated on October 4th, which is the feast day of Saint Francis of Assisi the patron saint of ecology and animals.

Let us know more about the most heavily trafficked wild mammal in the world and help spread awareness about the Republic Act 9147 or the THE CONSERVATION AND PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE RESOURCES AND THEIR HABITATS.

Through increased awareness and education, we can help build a world where animals will be recognized as sentient beings and we should always think about their welfare as living things and important part of the biological diversity.
