But oppression and threats to their existence are at an all-time high; a result of exploitative human practices and climate change, contributory and culprit to the deterioration of the world’s forest reserves, which serve as their natural habitat.
In celebration of the World Parrot Day 2023,with the theme: “Preserving Parrot Diversity for Generations”, the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS) joins the global community in its collective bid to intensify greater awareness, and foster diversified advocacies and platforms for the protection and conservation of these intelligent and vibrant creatures for the sake of the present and future generations!
