PCSDS SDG Peace and Partnership Champion: Holy Trinity University

Founded in 1940, the Holy Trinity University (HTU) is a dynamic Catholic institution located in Puerto Princesa City. Initially established to cater to kindergarten students under the guidance of nuns, HTU has made tremendous progress over the years and now offers a wide range of courses and experiences through its tertiary education program. Its mission and vision are exemplified by the quality and quantity of its graduates and their contributions to the society by and large.

Entering its doors, and being trained under the most critical and yet patient eyes of its administrators and teachers, are pivotal in its holistic growth and development, redounding to the society outside its yellow gates. It also ventures into research and community works, contributing to community progress, inclusivity, and vibrancy.

In recognition of these achievements, the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS) confers to the Holy Trinity University its Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Peace and Partnership Champion Award 2022 for their exceptional efforts in promoting peace, transparency, governance, and participatory engagement of various sectors or institutions in Palawan Biosphere Reserves (BRs).


The PCSDS commends Holy Trinity University for its faithful and selfless service, dedication to academic research and extension, and its role as a symbol of missionary sacrifice in fostering a progressive Christian community in Palawan BRs.
