The PCSDS, through its District Management Division (DMD)-North, participated in an environmental awareness campaign and tree planting activity in Roxas, Palawan, on June 22-23, 2022, in celebration of Municipal Arbor Day and Philippine Environment Month 2022.
With the theme “Aksyon para sa Natatanging Mundo” and a hashtag of #OnlyOneEarth, said activity organized by MENRO-Roxas and ECAN Board-Roxas, in partnership with DENR-CENRO Roxas, PCSDS, USAID-Safe Water Project and Ipilan Nickel Mining Corporation was joined by representatives from LGU-Roxas, Sangguniang Bayan Officials and employees, DPWH-Roxas, Barangay 3 and New Barbacan and officials, 4Ps, PCG, PNP, and BFP.
During the event, the PCSDS DMD-North was commended and given recognition for its invaluable contribution and support of the aforementioned environmental awareness campaign and tree planting activity.
