The Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS), through the District Management Division-North and ECAN Policy Research and Planning Division (EPRPD), conducted the presentation on the updated ECAN Map of the municipality of Magsaysay, Palawan to the members of the Magsaysay Sangguniang Bayan in Puerto Princesa City on October 22, 2021.
The activity was facilitated by the PCSD staff led by the District Management Division-North.
The notable LGU officials of Magsaysay present in the activity are Hon. Leo Arthur Abrea, Chairperson of Special Events and Legislative Committee on Environment, Natural Resources and Ecology, Hon. Marie Ellien Jaranilla, Chair Tourism, Culture and the Arts, Hon. Prospero Parangue, Chair on Disaster Risk Reduction and Hon. Russ Vincent Cabrestante, SK Federation President.
The event, which rounded off with very positive results, underscored the significance, sustainability, and importance of environmental conservation, protection, and preservation. Meanwhile, the Sangguniang Bayan of Magsaysay is set to adopt the updated ECAN Map, awaiting the endorsement for adoption by the municipal ECAN Board.
