Four (4) Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS) ECAN Monitoring and Evaluation Division (EMED) attended the training on Geographic Information System (GIS) and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Application in Mapping at Benguet State University, in La Trinidad, Benguet, December 13-16.
Attended by Archelm Joseph Sadang, Mark Anthony Racuya, Jamie John Besis, and Benedict Valloyas, the said training, which was organized by the Center for Geoinformatics, aimed to provide working skills on operation and application of GIS and UAV in mapping to the Local Government Units (LGUs), National Government Agencies (NGAs), and other stakeholders.
The participants were from Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – North La Union Campus, MPDO-Sadanga, OMAG-Kibungan, Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board – CAR, John Hay Management Corporation, City Building and Architectural Office, Saint Louis University, Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology, LGU-Tuba, and Benguet State University.
