PCSDS DMD-Calamian attends the CRN 11th General Assembly Meeting and Year-end Assessment

The Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS) District Management Division (DMD)-Calamian attended the Calamianes Resilience Network (CRN) 11th General Assembly Meeting and Year-end Assessment held in Rio Playa, Old Busuanga, on December 3.

CRN is a non-government organization working toward a resilient Calamianes against natural disasters and hazards. As such, it has been in partnership with PCSDS in conducting Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaigns, tree-planting activities, and coastal clean-ups.

The event discussed the CRN՚s accomplishment as of November and its Financial Report as of October. Moreover, it also elaborated on CRN՚s current Projects, and the review and approval of its five-year plan.

The event was attended by Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management (MDRRM) Coron and Busuanga, Department of Environment and Natural Resources-City Environment and Natural Resources (DENR-CENRO), Forest Management Bureau, Busuanga Pasture Reserve Management Office (FMB-BPRMO), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Samdhana Institute, Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA).

It was also participated by Coron Watershed Beneficiaries Association (CWBA), Calamianes Federation of Waterworks & Sanitation Association (CAFEDWASA), Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), Partnership of Philippine Support Service Agencies (PHILSSA), and Culion Foundation Incorporated (CFI), Salvacion Busuanga Rural Waterworks Sanitation Association (SB-SRWSA), and Palawan Advocates for Good governance and Empowerment (PAGE).
