The Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff attended the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) ՚s launching of Pinas Basura Buster Mascot and the Solid Waste Management Mobile Game application at Robinsons Place Palawan, November 30.
The Solid Waste Management Mobile Game Application, otherwise known as the Basura Buster, contains features for its users heightening their education on proper waste segregations, and inspiring their care and concern for the over-all plight of the environment.
Conducted by DENR Environmental Management Bureau in collaboration with DENR MIMAROPA, DENR PENRO Palawan, and CENRO Puerto Princesa, the said launching of Pinas Basura Buster Mascot and Basura Buster mobile application was in line with DENR՚s celebration of National Environmental Awareness Month, National Clean Air Month, National Climate Change Consciousness Week, and National Day for Youth in Climate Change.
