Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS) District Management Division (DMD)-Calamian attended the inauguration of the newly-upgraded Coron Port Building (CPB) on March 22.
Unveiled by the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), the newly-upgraded CBP has been made open to the public just in time as the municipality is hitting its tourism peak this month of March.
This enables the Coron municipality to cater to its visiting tourists and locals, providing them an additional means of transportation in reaching and accessing its tourist destinations. Furthermore, it also allows other travelers to use the CPB port facilities as a means to reach the other tourist destinations in Northern Palawan where world-renowned tourist destinations are located.
The unveiling event was also attended by Coron Mayor Mario T. Reyes, Coron Vice Mayor Asian Palanca, and members of Coron’s Municipal Council.
