Puerto Princesa City, Palawan – The Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS), led by Executive Director Atty. Teodoro Jose S. Matta reaffirmed its commitment to the interagency coordination as Puerto Princesa City Green Justice Zone (PPCGZ) advances its goals through series of meetings.
On September 17, 2025, PPCGJZ Lead Convenor, Vice Convenors, and TWG Chairpersons held a strategic meeting at Justice Hall, Brgy. Sta. Monica to address key environmental concerns and reinforce stakeholder engagement anent shoreline easements disputes, incidents of impersonation of judges to extort people; and, talks on the Palawan Mega Ecozone with emphasis on environmental compliance.
On September 30, 2025, PCSD Legal Services Staff attended the Dialogue with the Bureau of Customs concerning the prosecution and disposition of cases involving smuggling activities in Puerto Princesa City. Representatives from the Provincial and City Police, Philippine Coast Guard, PDEA, PNP-Maritime, Provincial and City Prosecutors, and other law enforcement sectors convened to come up with a Protocol on coordination, prosecution and disposition of smuggling cases of violation of Customs Modernization and Tariff Act.
