The Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS) officially received the Knowledge Product from the USAID Safe Water Project during the ceremonial closeout event held today at Hue Hotels and Resorts. Engr. Madrono Cabrestante Jr., Chief of the ECAN Monitoring and Evaluation Division (EMED), represented PCSDS at the event, marking the conclusion of this five-year project conducted in close collaboration with partners and communities within the city and throughout the province.

Advancements in water security through sustainable watershed and water resource management, as well as the development of Payment for Ecosystem Services (PES) mechanisms, reflect the success of the USAID Safe Water Project. Furthermore, capacitating local communities and stakeholders with vital skills in sustainably managing water resources has been instrumental over the years.

Receiving the Knowledge Product will equip PCSDS and its partners with essential data to continually promote water security and sustainable development across Palawan, ensuring the protection of vital ecosystems for future generations.
