RESOLUTION APPOINTING ENGR. BONIFACIO M. MADARCOS AS DEPUTY EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE PALAWAN COUNCIL FOK SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT STAFF (PCSDS)

WHEREAS, R.A. 7611, otherwise known as the Strategic Environmental Plan (SEP) for Palawan, took effect on 19 June 1992′ and Section 16 of said Act provides that the governance,. implementation and policy direction of the SEP shall be exercised by the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development (PCSD) , under the 0ffice of the President;

WHEREAS, Deputy Executive Director HELCHOR N.PRADO of the Palawan Counci for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS) has tendered his retirement effective 04 November 1994 rendering the position vacant, and creating an immediate need to fiII up the position;

WHEREAS, under the provisions of R.A. 7611 and the the Rules and Regulations Implementing the SEP for Palawan adopted by the Council r the Deputy Executive Director of the PCSDS is to be appointed by the Council

WHEREAS, ENGR. BONIFACIO M. MADARCOS has been nominated by PCSDS Executive Director Arthur R. Ventura to fill in the position;

WHEREAS, the nomination of ENGR. BONIFACIO M. MADARCOS was duly seconded by Cong. David A. Ponce de Leon and Usec. Ricardo H. Umali;

NOW THEREFORE, all the members of the Council present;

RESOLVED, as it hereby resolve, that the CounciI appoint ENGR. BONIFACIO H. MADARCOS as the Deputy Executive Director of the PCSDS, subject to existing hiring rules and regulations of the government;

RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this resolution be furnished all concerned agencies for their information. consideration and appropriate action.
