PCSD RESOLUTION NO. 94-41

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE GRANT OF TRAVEL ALLOWANCES TO OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE(S) SENT BY ANY MEMBER(S) OF THE COUNCIL UNABLE TO ATTEND SCHEDULED COUNCIL MEETINGS.

WHEREAS, Pursuant to Sec. 18 of R.A. 7611 known as the Strategic Environmental Plan (SEP) Act, members of the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development (PCSD) “are entitled to per diems and allowances in accordance with existing laws in the performance of their duties and in carrying out the business of the council.”;

WHEREAS, as stipulated by its Rules and Regulations Implementing the SEP Act adopted by the Council last 04, September 1992, it shall meet regularly at least once a month “in Palawan at any such other place it may designated.”;

WHEREAS, the members of the council are residing either in Puerto Princesa City or in Metro Manila;

WHEREAS, due to unavoidable circumstances, some members are unable to attend the schedule meeting of the Council and thus are forced to send their official representative;

NOW THEREFORE, upon motion by Cong. David A. Ponce de Leon as Chairman of Finance Committee, the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development hereby resolves to grant travel allowances to official representative sent by members who are unable to attend schedule Council meeting.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be sent to the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) and other concerned agencies for their consideration and appropriate action.
