PCSD RESOLUTION NO. 16-554

“REPLACING THE DONATED ONE (1) UNIT CHAINSAWWITH CHASIS NO. 911097917601WITH ANOTHER CHAINSAW UNIT WITH SERIAL NO. 134991851IN FAVOR OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF BROOKE’S POINT, PALAWAN”

WHEREAS, on March 31, 2016 the PCSD passed Resolution No. 16-543 donating one (1) unit of chainsaw with chasis number 911097917601 in favor of the Municipal Government of Brooke’s Point through its Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) in response to the former’s request for the subject chainsaw unit which the MENRO has confiscated and turned over to the PCSD Staff;

WHEREAS,in the same resolution the PCSDS Executive Director was authorized to  execute the Deed of Donation over the subject chainsaw unit in favor of the Municipal Government of Brooke’s Point;

WHEREAS,when the PCSDS was preparing the Deed of Donation and the corresponding Certificate of Registration in favor of the Donee, the subject unit was inspected and it was discovered that it bears no serial number to identify it, hence,it cannot be registered;

WHEREAS, in today’s meeting of the PCSD, the foregoing circumstances was explained and the Council deemed it proper to replace the donated unit with a new one which bears a serial number;

WHEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing premises and on motion duly seconded, the Council resolves as it is hereby resolved, replacing the donated one (1) unit chainsaw with chasis number 911097917601 with another unit with serial number 134991851 in favor of the Municipal Government of Brooke’s Point, Palawan.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the said donated unit shall be used exclusively for disaster related activities only;

RESOLVED FINALLY, thatcopies of this resolution be furnished the Local Government of Brooke’s Point, Palawan and other concerned agenciesfor their information and guidance;

ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 20^th day of June 2016 at Governor’s Conference Room, 2/F, Capitol Building, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
