“A RESOLUTION APPOINTING NELSON P. DEVANADERA AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR III OF THE PALAWAN COUNCIL FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT STAFF, CO-TERMINUS WITH THE APPOINTING AUTHORITY, EFFECTIVE AUGUST 13, 2007 “

WHEREAS, Section 20, RA 7611 empowers the PCSD to appoint the Executive Director of the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff;

WHEREAS, in order to support the petition for review of the denial by the Civil Service Commission of the appointment of Mr. Nelson P. Devanadera pending before the Supreme Court, the Council deemed it necessary to maintain the status quo;

NOW THEREFORE, upon motion of Representative Antonio C. Alvarez, duly seconded, the Council resolves, as it is hereby resolved, to appoint Mr. Nelson P. Devanadera, as Executive Director III, co-terminus with the appointing authority, effective August 13, 2007.

RESOLVED FINALLY, that copy of this resolution be furnished the Civil Service Commission and Mr. Devanadera for their information and guidance.

ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 27th day of July 2007 at Puerto Princesa City.
