On October 8, 2025, the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development (PCSD), reaffirming its commitment to the Puerto Princesa City Green Justice Zone, provided the venue for a meeting to address the alarming rise in scams involving individuals impersonating judges and court personnel. Key stakeholders from the justice sector and law enforcement convened to discuss the nature and scope of these activities which have raised serious concerns among the public.
The primary objective of the meeting was to develop solutions to prevent the recurrence of such illegal acts. Participants shared insights, best practices, and proposed collaborative measures aimed at strengthening verification processes, raising public awareness, and enhancing inter-agency coordination.
