Palawan Pangolin turned over to PCSDS

Weighing 4.1 kg and measuring 63 cm, a Palawan Pangolin (๐˜”๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ช๐˜ด ๐˜ค๐˜ถ๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ด๐˜ช๐˜ด), locally known as โ€œBalintongโ€, was turned over to Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS) by Norian Danuel C. Balinsay of Bgy. Sicsican, on December 17 at 8 am. 

The Palawan Pangolin is listed as a โ€œCritically Endangered Speciesโ€ under PCSD Resolution No. 15-521.

PCSDS informs and encourages the public to report to the agency and staff any wildlife species (flora and fauna) found accidentally or otherwise anywhere in Palawan, through their hotline numbers 0935-116-2336 (Globe/TM) and 0948-937-2200 (Smart/TNT).ย
