Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS) with the United States Forest Service-International Programs (USFS-IP) conduct PCSD Evidence Facility Audit and Reorganization Activity

The Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS), in partnership with the United States Forest Service-International Programs (USFS-IP) conducted a week-long PCSD Evidence Facility Audit and Reorganization Activity last 5-9 December 2022 at Palawan Sustainable Development Training Institute (PSDTI), Barangay Irawan, Puerto Princesa City. Accomplished in the activity were: the documentation and inventory of chainsaw units based on their status; identification and establishment of a standard labeling system of the evidence facility and storage units, sections and shelves; organization of the outdoor portion of the facility; and physical and security inspection of the facility. 

The three container vans donated by the  United States Department of State- Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs last 16th of November were also utilized for the custody and storage of the pieces of evidence in the facility.

The aforementioned activity resulted from the collaborative efforts of United States Forest Service-International Programs and Palawan Council for Sustainable Development and was realized through the participation of the PCSDS-Legal Services Section, Wildlife Enforcement Section, and Species and Habitat Management Section.
