One Southeast Asian Box Turtle turned over to PCSDS

One Southeast Asian Box Turtle (𝘊𝘶𝘰𝘳𝘢 𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘴) was retrieved by the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS) after it was turned over by Mr. Earzel Zamora of Bgy. Mandaragat, Puerto Princesa City on July 26, 2021.

Mr. Zamora narrated that he found the turtle on the side of the road on his way home on July 25, 2021. He reported the incident to the PCSDS Facebook page on July 26, 2021. The PCSDS Wildlife Enforcement Team immediately went to his area and retrieved the turtle on the same day.

The Southeast Asian Box Turtle has a curved carapace length of 19.5cms and curved carapace width of 19cms.
