One Rufous Night Heron Bird (π˜•π˜Ίπ˜€π˜΅π˜ͺ𝘀𝘰𝘳𝘒𝘹 𝘀𝘒𝘭𝘦π˜₯𝘰𝘯π˜ͺ𝘀𝘢𝘴) was turned over to the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS) by Ms. Rosemarie Roque of Barangay San Jose, Puerto Princesa City on Monday, December 13, 2021.

Ms. Roque narrated that she was having lunch with her family when they heard the chirping of a bird that seemed to have fallen on their roof. After capturing the bird, she tried to release the species but it could not fly. She stated in an interview that she wanted to take care of the aforementioned bird but since she has no knowledge of how to do so, she turned it over to the PCSDS.

The PCSDS reminds the public that in case there are persons who happen to find or rescue wildlife, to not hesitate to turn them over to our office, which can be contacted thru hotline numbers 0935-116-2336 (Globe/TM) and 0948-937-2200 (Smart/TNT).
