
One Reticulated Python (ππ’ππ’πΊπ°π±πΊπ΅π©π°π― π³π¦π΅πͺπ€πΆππ’π΅πΆπ΄) was retrieved through a joint operation of the PCSDS Enforcement Team and Provincial Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) at Purok Sigla, Brgy. San Manuel, Puerto Princesa City on August 30, 2021 at 10:00 AM.
The snake was recovered by the PCSDS Enforcement Team and the Provincial CIDG in Mr. Gerardo Gonzaga’s motor and machine shop. A concerned citizen reported Mr. Gonzaga’s possession of the wildlife species, which prompted the retrieval operation.
The Reticulated Python was brought to the Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center (PWRCC) for its rehabilitation on the same day.
The Reticulated Python, listed as βEndangered Speciesβ under the PCSD Resolution No. 15-521, has a length of approximately 3 meters and width of 12 cms.
