One Crested Goshawk (𝘈𝘀𝘀π˜ͺ𝘱π˜ͺ𝘡𝘦𝘳 𝘡𝘳π˜ͺ𝘷π˜ͺ𝘳𝘨𝘒𝘡𝘢𝘴) was turned over by Mr. Resty Carillo, staff of Acacia Garden Inn to the PCSDS-District Management Division (DMD)-Calamian at Coron Office on December 17, 2021.

Mr. Carillo narrated that he found the bird at Acacia Garden Inn’s premises, and he decided to retrieve and turn it over to PCSDS. According to him, the strong wind that day might have blown it away till it reached that area. He captured it and handed it over to the DMD-Calamian Coron Office on the same day.

The Crested Goshawk, which is in good shape, was released back to its natural habitat on December 17, 2021.

The Crested Goshawk measures 42 cms in length and weighs 2 Kg.
