HAPPENING NOW: The Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS), in collaboration with the Palawan State University (PSU) and the European Union Global Diaspora Facility (EUDiF), is now organizing the fundraising for climate adaptation training for local government entities in Palawan. Municipal planning and development officers from 18 LGUs in the province are participating in the event.
The aforementioned session will cover grant writing and acquisition for climate adaptation and aims to better equip LGUs with fundraising capabilities. Additionally, the event provides participants an avenue to identify adaptation project concepts and proposals for funding to international and bilateral funding sources like the Global Environmental Facility, Adaptation Fund, and Green Climate Fund, as well as other domestic funding sources.
