This upcoming 3rd of November 2022, the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development (PCSD) as the designated onsite management authority of the Palawan Biosphere Reserve, together with the UNESCO National Commission of the Philippines (UNACOM), Province of Palawan, City of Puerto Princesa, Albay Biosphere Reserve, Puerto Galera Biosphere Reserve, and other partners from the government and non-government sectors will be celebrating the very first International Day for Biosphere Reserves. November 3 was recently designated by UNESCO-Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Programme as the International Day for Biosphere Reserves.
