Born to Be Wild TV Host turns over one dead species of King Cobra to PCSDS

One dead species of King Cobra (𝘖𝘱𝘩𝘪𝘰𝘱𝘩𝘢𝘨𝘶𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘢𝘩) was turned over to Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS) by Dr. Ferdinand “Ferds” Recio, TV Host of GMA 7’s “Born To Be Wild” program on November 11, 2021.

According to Dr. Recio, they were filming in Barangay San Juan, Aborlan, Palawan, on November 9, 2021, at 7:30 AM, when a member of the community approached them and informed them about a dead snake that they retrieved in their area.

After getting the information, the Born to be Wild team immediately went to the location and assisted the community members in the retrieval of the dead King Cobra. Subsequently, the retrieved King Cobra was brought by the team to the PCSDS office.

The King Cobra is listed as an “Endangered Species” under PCSD Resolution No. 15-521.
