Forest Product Monitoring Station 1 (FPMS 1), DENR-CENRO ─ Today, July 11, a total of 31 additional chainsaw units have been turned over to Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS) by the staff of Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)- Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) in Taytay, Palawan.

The chainsaw units, which were seized through the DENR-CENRO’s enforcement operations in Taytay and El Nido, were handed over to PCSDS District Management Division (DMD)- North and ECAN Zones Management Division (EZMED).

PCSD serves as the primary enforcer of Republic Act No. 9175 or the Chainsaw Act of 2002 in Palawan.
