A resident of Busuanga, Palawan, voluntarily handed over one (1) Juvenile Philippine Hill Mynah to the PCSD DMD Calamian Monitoring and Enforcement Section on March 12, 2024. The team discovered the endangered wildlife during a compliance monitoring visit to a local establishment.

Palawan Hill Mynah is listed as a “Critically Endangered Species” under PCSD Resolution 23-967, highlighting the importance of wildlife preservation.

The PCSDS encourages fellow citizens who happen to encounter any live wildlife to leave them alone in their natural habitat.
