On May 23-26, the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS) served as part of the board of panelists at the final research presentation of Palawan National School (PNS) Senior High students under the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) strand during the Convalesce Capstone Expo 2023 at the PNS grounds.

Represented by Atty. Mitch Sabuya, Ms. Rachel Carino, Arnica De Guzman Mortillero, and Archelm Joseph Sadang, PCSDS contributed their technical expertise to refine the form and substance of the students’ research outputs. They provided insights and recommendations to enhance the quality of the research.

Additionally, PCSDS shared information on the recently-held Palawan Research and Sustainable Development Agenda (PRSDA) and distributed copies of the PRSDA Abridged version. It contains a list of priority research derived from its 2016 version, along with the Palawan Sustainable Development Strategic Action Plan (PSDSAP).

The above-cited reference could guide future research activities of the PNS community and assist in addressing potential research gaps in the province of Palawan. Furthermore, the participants were also informed about the upcoming International Conference on Biosphere and Sustainability, scheduled to be held in November.
