๐…๐ž๐›๐ซ๐ฎ๐š๐ซ๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ–, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’ – The Cleopatraโ€™s Needle Critical Habitat (CNCH) Technical Working Group (TWG) convened its 15th meeting at Conference Room 2, 2nd Floor, New City Hall Building, Puerto Princesa City. Representing the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS), Mr. John Vincent B. Fabello from the District Management Division South attended.

The meeting focused on discussing recent and ongoing challenges, opportunities, and updates related to various activities within the protected area. Additionally, the TWG thoroughly reviewed several research proposals and laid out future conservation actions for study.

Covering a land area of 41,350 hectares, Cleopatraโ€™s Needle Forest was designated as a Critical Habitat on December 15, 2017, under PCSD Resolution No. 17-612, in accordance with Republic Act 9147, also known as the Wildlife Resources Conservation and Protection Act. This protected area is vital for preserving a diverse ecosystem and safeguarding threatened wild flora and fauna.
