On September 3, 2025, PCSDS from the Office of the Executive Director – Legal Services and the ECAN Zones Management and Enforcement Division served as resource persons in the Training on Basic Rescue and Response for Large Marine Mammals and Other Marine Wildlife at Astoria Palawan Resort, Barangay San Rafael, Puerto Princesa City.

Organized by the Puerto Princesa City ENRO, the training equipped resort staff with essential skills in responding to marine wildlife strandings. PCSDS resource persons discussed Republic Act No. 9147 (Wildlife Act) and Palawan’s standard rescue and response protocols, reinforcing local capacity for marine wildlife conservation.
