𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞: 𝐏𝐂𝐒𝐃𝐒-𝐃𝐌𝐃 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐰𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐱𝐚𝐬

𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒; 𝐑𝐨𝐱𝐚𝐬, 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧 -PCSDS-DMD North led by the District Manager- Ma. Christina D. Rodriguez participated and served as resource speaker during the Orientation Seminar on Environmental Laws and Policies conducted by the Local Government Unit of Roxas through the MENRO Roxas in partnership with DENR and Roxas ECAN Board. This activity was participated by the Barangay and SK Officials of the Municipality. The main goal of this activity is to strengthen the knowledge of the local legislators to strictly implement the laws and policies implemented in Palawan. The DMD Staff focused on the discussion of SEP Law and ECAN, the Wildlife Act, and the Chainsaw Act. The other speakers discussed the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Air and Quality Management Permitting, the EIA Permitting System, Forestry Code, Solid Waste Management Act, Municipal Solid Waste Management, and other environmental-related ordinances.
