𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐃𝐀𝐘- 𝟎𝟕 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑

Palawan Council for Sustainable Development (PCSD) sealed another partnership as its Chairman, Provincial Governor Victorino Dennis M. Socrates and Acting Executive Director Niño Rey C. Estoya affixed their signatures during the Memorandum of Agreement Signing Ceremony conducted at PCSD Conference Hall, PCSD Building, Puerto Princesa City. The other party, Malampaya Foundation Incorporated (MFI) was represented by its Chairman, Rufino B. Bomasang and President Annabelle D. Ong. Witnesses to this ceremony were Levita Lagrada (Director for Operations, PCSDS), Ma. Christina Rodriguez (DMD-Calamian District Manager, PCSDS), Rhoda Roque (Supervisor, District Operations, PCSDS), Karen H. Agabin, (Executive Director, MFI), and Pacifico D. Beldia (Program Manager for Marine Conservation, MFI).

This partnership first came into existence way back 2015 and is strengthened throughout the years. For this year, this renewed partnership generally aims to: restore degraded coastal ecosystems to increase ecosystem resilience to the effects of changing climate; restore the flow of food and services provided by healthy lowland forests, reefs, seagrass, beds, mangrove forests, and clean coastal waters to improve ecosystems productivity; and capacitate local community leaders in the management of their environment and natural resources.
