
𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰, 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 – The PCSDS was visited by the delegation from the United Kingdom Royal College of Defence Studies (RCDS) as part of the 3-country (Australia, Philippines, and Japan) Regional Study Tour for the annual RCDS Global Strategy Programme (GSP).

During the program, the delegates were briefed on how PCSD and its Staff carry out their mandates under Republic Act 7611, also known as the Strategic Environmental Plan (SEP), a special law unique to the Province of Palawan. The sharing for the 20-member delegation focused on the initiatives undertaken to address illegal wildlife trade and the regulatory functions administered under the SEP Clearance System or the PCSD Admin Order No. 6, as amended.

On behalf of Executive Director Teodoro Jose S. Matta, who is attending another significant event, Deputy Executive Director Niño Rey C. Estoya, Director Levita A. Lagrada, District Manager Glenda M. Cadigal, and Eugene Venturillo, Species Conservation and Management Section Head, served as panelists during the question and answer with the delegates.
