𝐄𝐥𝐧𝐢𝐝𝐨, 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧,𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟐-𝟐𝟑,𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 – PCSDS Legal Services Section enhanced the capabilities of the wildlife enforcers in its contribution to successful prosecution of environmental cases.

During the 2-day of training organized by the EZMED, SEP Law (RA 7611), Chainsaw Act (RA 9175), Wildlife Act(RA 9147), and Cave’s Law (RA 9072) and their PCSD implementing rules and regulations were discussed. Likewise conversed are the topics on arrest, search, and seizure, rules on evidence gathering and preservation, as well as an overview of judicial proceedings for criminal cases and administrative adjudication before the PCSD Adjudication Board (PAB). The staff also facilitated the preparation of documents for filing of cases.

This joint effort of EZMED and Legal Services Section fortifies the frontliners against wildlife crimes and solves the intricacies of prosecuting offenders involved.
