Coron, Palawan โ€“ The Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS) – District Management Division (DMD) Calamian is set to debut โ€œSEP, Ating Batas-Kapupuruan Editionโ€ on April 1, airing every Tuesday from 4:00 to 5:00 PM on Radyo Kasimanwa 97.3. The program aims to provide updates on local developments in Calamian while reinforcing environmental policies and sustainable practices.

This initiative follows the successful participation of Ms. Micah Balbon Losauro, Ms. Charmine Beguina, and Mr. Romel Locinicio from DMD-Calamian in the Training Workshop on Effective Radio Programming held on March 24-25, 2025 at Radyo Kasimanwa 97.3. The workshop enhanced their skills in both the technical and creative aspects of radio broadcasting, provided hands-on training to equip participants with the skills necessary to produce high-quality, informative, and engaging programs that effectively reach local audiences, particularly in remote communities.

Through this program, DMD-Calamian is now better prepared to support public information efforts, improve stakeholder engagement, and contribute to more effective communication strategies across the Calamianes Islands. The initiative also underscores the agencyโ€™s commitment to continuous capacity building for its personnel.

The collaboration between PCSDS-DMD-Calamian and Radyo Kasimanwa 97.3 highlights their shared commitment to environmental advocacy and information dissemination, ensuring that communities remain well-informed and engaged in sustainable practices.
