๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฎ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐, ๐๐๐๐, ๐๐ ๐ฒ. ๐๐จ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐๐๐ฒ๐ญ๐๐ฒ, ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฐ๐๐ง- PCSDS DMD North secured the safety of one (1) head Pied Imperial Pigeon from possible hunting and habitat loss. The said bird was turned over by Mr. Ricky Cabataรฑa, a resident of Poblacion, Taytay, Palawan.
The PCSDS commends Mr. Ricky Cabataรฑaโs responsible action and encourages others to follow suit by reporting wildlife encounters to appropriate authorities. The pigeon will undergo assessment and, if deemed fit, will be released back into its natural habitat, contributing to the preservation of Palawan’s diverse ecosystem.
The PCSDS encourages fellow citizens who happen to encounter any live wildlife to leave them alone in their natural habitat.
