Estoya, held a meeting with Dr. Ria Fitriana of James Cook University (JCU) on June 29 to discuss the planned activities for the โNeeds and Capacity Assessmentโ as part of the implementation of Maritime Project 2.0 in Palawan.
Maritime Project 2.0, also known as โEnhancing the Role of Civil Society Organizations in the Philippines in Marine Resources Management, Maritime Security and Policy Implementation,โ is a regional program initiated by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). It aims to assist civil maritime security policies, framework, and capabilities, while promoting adherence to rules-based norms and established international laws.
