𝐏𝐂𝐒𝐃𝐒 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞-𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲-𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 (𝐀𝐌𝐋𝐂)

𝐏𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟑𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐭𝐨 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒- PCSDS joined a workshop that will strengthen the performance of its mandates through the prosecution of covered individuals/entities under the predicate environmental crimes and AMLA in the Province of Palawan.

During the course of the workshop, the participants were oriented on the mandates of AMLC, the elements of money-laundering and how to prove them, the civil and criminal remedies that may be pursued by PCSDS for environmental cases covered by AMLA, and the basics of financial investigation in prosecuting money-laundering.

This is pursuant to AMLC and PCSD’s continuous desire, in the spirit of cooperation and mutual interest, to facilitate the investigation and prosecution of persons suspected of money laundering and in relation to unlawful environmental activities
