𝐏𝐂𝐒𝐃𝐒 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬

RTNMC townsite, Brgy. Rio Tuba, Bataraza, Palawan on April 17, 2024 and Aborlan, Palawan on April 19, 2024 – PCSDS Legal Services staff Ofel Jemaimah Oblan served as resource speaker on paralegal training, organized by CENRO Brooke’s Point, for the deputation of environment and natural resources officers. Given the pressing environmental concerns confronting DENR-CENRO (Centralized Enforcement and Investigation Division), familiarity with the Wildlife Act, Chainsaw Act and their implementing rules and regulations becomes significant hence the discussion. The participants of the said training CBNC personnel, representatives of Brgy. Taratak and Rio Tuba, MENRO Bataraza personnel, MFPC members, volunteers and other law enforcement agencies as well as EMF personnel gain a better understanding on the legal aspects of environmental conservation.
