During the short program, Atty. Teodoro Jose S. Matta, MNSA PCSDS Executive Director, expressed gratitude for the said donation and emphasized valuing strong partnerships as environmental protection is best pursued with cooperation among stakeholders. With this kind of equipment, the operations of PCSDS Wildlife Enforcement Section, utilization of the โSumbong Appโ and Palawan Environmental Enforcement Network (PALAWEEN) initiatives as well as handling and disposition of cases by the Legal Services Section (LSS) through their Case Management System (CMS) will be reinforced.
The donation ceremony was then followed by a tour in the PCSDS biodiversity resource center and shipping containers turned into evidence facilities wherein biological variability conservation efforts are showcased and featured as well as accounts of collaborative wildlife conservation and accomplishments are highlighted. This event is one of the numerous important milestones in the US-Philippines shared vision of environmental protection and conservation.
