𝐏𝐂𝐒𝐃𝐒 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬: 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧

Weighing 5.25 kg, an adult female Palawan Pangolin (𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘴), locally known as “Balintong”, was turned over to Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS) by Mr. Larry Dela Cruz of Brgy. Sicsican, on November 23 at 4:30 pm. It was said that the critically endangered animal was seen by Mr. Dela Cruz in the canal in front of JS Wilcon Builders and Trading, Barangay Sicsican and immediately surrendered it to PCSDS.

The Palawan Pangolin is listed as a “Critically Endangered Species” under PCSD Resolution No. 15-521 and CITES listed under Appendix I.
