𝐒𝐭𝐚. 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚, 𝐏𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲; 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟐 𝐭𝐨 𝟐𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 – PCSDS EZMED orchestrated a comprehensive Wildlife Enforcement Training session. The event, held in Puerto Princesa City, aimed to fortify the enforcement capabilities of environmental officers and conservation advocates.
Seventy participants from Wildlife Management, Protected Area, Environmental Management, and Enforcement of the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (ENRO) converged for the training. Among the attendees were individuals serving as Bantay Gubat, Bantay Dagat, Bantay Pawikan, Puyos Patroller, and Forest Rangers.
The primary thrust of the training was to equip attendees with the latest insights into environmental laws and regulations, while also providing practical guidance on their enforcement. By honing their skills in proper wildlife handling and enforcement procedures, participants were primed to contribute meaningfully to conservation efforts.
The Wildlife Enforcement Training underscored the commitment of PCSDS EZMED and its partners to safeguarding Palawan’s rich biodiversity. By fostering a cadre of well-trained and knowledgeable environmental stewards, the initiative aims to pave the way for sustainable development and conservation in the region.
