The PCSDS widens its advocacy, communication, and education program through a Lecture Series on Palawanโ€™s Flora and Fauna for selected faculty and students of Palawan State University on February 26-29, 2024. The purpose of the lecture series is to provide PSU faculty and learners with the latest information on Palawan’s endemic species, the province’s current wildlife population trend, environmental laws, and concepts related to realizing sustainable development in Palawan.

The PSU offers the Palawan Studies course, an institutionalized subject in which all PSU students must enroll. This course aims to equip students with consciousness and understanding of the intricate geography, biodiversity, culture, and history of Palawan.

The PCSDS recognizes the essential role that academic institutions play in providing communities access to services that will benefit society. The PCSDS hopes that by establishing partnerships such as this, more communities will be motivated to make significant investments and thoughtful decisions that will lead to a sustainable future for all Palaweรฑos.
