๐’๐š๐ง ๐•๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž, ๐๐š๐ฅ๐š๐ฐ๐š๐ง โ”€ On August 7, Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS) District Management Division (DMD)- North through Mr. Eduardo Cabrera discussed the provisions of the Republic Act (RA) No. 9147 or Wildlife Resources Conservation and Protection Act, and the Republic Act (RA) No. 9175 or the Chainsaw Act of 2002, to the participants of the Municipal Youth Caravan, as part of the activities in celebration of the International Youth Day on August 12.

The participants โ”€students, out-of-school youth, and beneficiaries of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries โ”€ also attended a series of discussions on Mental Health and Teenage Pregnancy, Environmental Protection, Gender Sensitivity, Basic Life Support, and First Aid and Fire Safety and Drills. It was facilitated by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of San Vicente through its Local Youth Development Desk.

Through the activity, the PCSDS was given an opportunity to remind the public on the importance of protecting and conserving the environment of Palawan, aided by the Strategic Environmental Plan for Palawan Act or RA 7611.
