El Nido, Palawan, June 5β7, 2024- The PCSDS-DMD North El Nido staff attend an ongoing three-day workshop focused on the review of the Bulalakao-Singkokan Integrated Watershed Management Plan (BSWMP). The workshop takes place at the El Nido Foundation Community Learning Center and was facilitated by the El Nido Foundation, Inc.
Key participants include the heads of the MPDO and the MEEDO, the IPMR of Barangay PasadeΓ±a, Barangay Captains from PasadeΓ±a, New Ibajay, Barotuan, and Villa Paz, as well as members of the Barangay Watershed Management Committee. Representatives from the Mayorβs Office, the MENRO, the MTO, and the PAMO were also in attendance.Β
The workshop aims to review and refine the BSWMP to ensure sustainable management of the Nagkali-kalit, Bolalakao, and Singkokan watersheds. This collaborative effort underscores the commitment of various stakeholders in El Nido to protect and manage their vital water resources effectively.
