𝐏𝐂𝐒𝐃𝐒-𝐃𝐌𝐃 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐚𝐧, 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲

PCSDS-District Management Divisions (DMDs) actively participated in the celebration of World Environment Day last June 5, 2024.

As part of the 2024 celebration of World Environment Day themed “Our Land. Our Future. We are #GenerationRestoration,” the 2nd synchronized Pista ng Kalikasan, themed “Kapit-kamay sa Pagpapamumbalik ng Luntiang Kapaligiran: Hakbang para sa Inang Kalikasan,” was simultaneously celebrated in different municipalities of Palawan through tree-planting.

PCSDS-DMDs across Palawan expressed their support through their participation in this environmentally significant initiative.

PCSDS-DMD Calamian participated in the tree planting activity in Barangay New Busuanga, Busuanga, Palawan. The PCSDS-DMD North joined in this simultaneous activity in the municipalities of Araceli, Roxas and San Vicente.

The DMD staff in Quezon, Rizal, and Narra participated in the synchronized Pista ng Kalikasan in Sitio Ilululay, Alfonso XIII, Quezon; Sitio Pinagar, Barangay Camping Ulay, Rizal; and Barangay Taritein, Narra, respectively. Meanwhile, at the Municipality of Bataraza, Forester Glenda M. Cadigal, DMD South Manager led the Staff participation in a tree planting activity organized by Rio Tuba Nickel Mining Corporation and the Local Government Unit of Bataraza at Inogbong Bataraza Race Track.

This widely celebrated event, participated by different individuals from different sectors and backgrounds, highlighted the importance of tree planting as an effective means to achieve a greener and cleaner environment for current and future generations.
