𝐏𝐂𝐒𝐃𝐒 𝐃𝐌𝐃 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧-𝐮𝐩 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐲

In observance of World Water Day, the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff District Management Division Calamian (PCSDS DMD Calamian), local government of Coron, and different stakeholders actively participated in a Coastal Clean-up Drive on March 23, 2024. The event, facilitated by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (DENR CENRO) in Coron aimed to raise awareness about the importance of preserving marine ecosystems and water resources.

Volunteers gathered along the coastal areas of Coron to collect trash and debris, emphasizing the significance of responsible waste management and environmental stewardship. Participants donned gloves and carried garbage bags as they combed through beaches, removing plastic waste, discarded items, and other pollutants that threaten marine life and coastal habitats.
