PSDTI, Barangay Irawan, Puerto Princesa City –  In accordance with the Wildlife and Cave Management Sub- Program under the ECAN Management Program, the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff through its ECAN Zones, Management and Enforcement Division, in partnership with Large Marine Vertebrates Research Institute Philippines (LAMAVE) conducted the continuation of the development of Palawan Wildlife Management Program at PSDTI, Barangay Irawan, Puerto Princesa City, today, October 25.

Topics discussed include the Status of Wildlife Management in Palawan and Restoration Map of Degraded Habitats of Endangered and Endemic Species. Simultaneous workshop was also conducted to address the issues on habitat destruction, overexploitation of resources, introduction and/or control of invasive species and the impact of climate change and pollution.

The said activity was also graced by representatives from DENR PENRO, CENRO Puerto Princesa, PG- ENRO, City ENRO, PWRCC, ELAC, MWWP, Western Command, TIEZA, KFI, CAAP, PDRRMO, C3 Philippines, Inc., Philippine Coast Guard, TMO, ZSL, DA-BFAR, Centre for Sustainability, and the academe from WPU, PSU and HTU.
