
With their harmonious and calming melodies in performing the PCSD Hymn, βPCSD-Kasapiβ, the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS) Administrative and Finance Division (AFD) emerged as the 1st placer during the PCSDS Choral Singing Competition held at the Aziza Paradise Hotel.
As the winner, PCSDS AFD was awarded with a cash prize of P20, 000, followed by the ECAN Zones Management and Enforcement Division (EZMED) who secured 2nd place with a prize of P14,000.

The District Management Division-South earned 3rd place with a prize of P 8,000. Meanwhile, the other participating groups received a consolation prize of P 3,000 each.
The esteemed panel of judges for the competition included Mr. Glen Forbes from USAID-SIBOL; Ms. Fei Wiene Castillo, the composer of PCSD Hymn; Mr. Ryan Fuentes-former CAO & EPRPD chief; PCSDS, Atty. Adelina B. Benavente-Villena- former PCSDS Director II; and Ms. Merlinda Hilario- Former PCSDS PDO V.
The judging criteria encompassed various aspects, including Harmonyβ 25%, Mastery of the Song β 25%, 100% participation β 25%, and overall impact β 25%.
As part of the celebration of the 31st Founding Anniversary of PCSDS, the Choral Singing Competition was held in an effort to institutionalize βPCSD-Kasapiβ as an official song in the succeeding PCSD events, with the Staff demonstrating their requisite mastery of the songβs lyrics.
