More or less 623 board feet of Ipil lumber were confiscated from a certain Arnel Palasan at around 1:30 a.m. Friday, July 8 in Barangay Port Barton, San Vicente town.
The apprehension was launched by the Provincial Law Enforcement Task Force through the joint elements of PCSD Enforcement Team and Bantay Palawan.
Criminal and/or administrative charges will be filed against Palasan for violation of Presidential Decree No. 705 or the Philippine Forestry Code.
